Fender “hot-rod Deville” amp for guitars and Peavey KB-3 american amp for keyboards.
Favorite song? Stairway of course! Crossroads, many others too numerous to list.
Favorite locals? Slander (my son’s band), Fender Benders, High Tide (my old band but I’m still a number 1 fan!) Kenny Lee, John Cowan and the “JFB” of course!
Supporters? My wife is number 1 on that list, always there, easy on the eyes and….VERY HONEST when it comes to our music (lol). The Moose lodge and one of our biggest supporters: the Corvettes Limited of Bowling Green car club. The recording studio of Kurt and Ryan Adkins, B.G. Chophouse Recording Studio, very professional!
Hobbies? Making and listening to music and cruising in the Corvette with my sweetie.
Goals for the band? Well we don’t expect to become the Beatles or anything but we want to get busy and continuing to do what comes natural to us, we want to and enjoy playing new places and spreading the music that we love!
“Props” for any band member in particular? It would really be hard to single anybody out because each one of them are so unique in their job/duties. Kent is a drum machine! He really has more rhythm in his bones that anybody I’ve ever played with, he has a rockin’ kick-ass style that puts him above most drummers. The thing about Kent, is it all seems effortless, it’s in his blood you know? Lots of talent there, not to mention his seemingly limitless range in the vocal department. Great singer/drummer.
Gary has really come a long way on playing the bass, he hasn’t been playing that long but you’d never know it. It all comes from hard work, he’s always digging, working on sounding better or learning new techniques. Gary is a big part of the success of this band.
Gordon is the guy! Here’s a man that truly loves the music, the guitar! It really shows when he picks it up to play. He’s a unique player with passion in his style. We’ll be at practice learning a new song and he’ll just soak it all in and the next time we play he’ll have it down lick for lick! We can always depend on Gordon, a true musician!
Each member of the “Jackie Fox Band” is unique in their “corner” of the stage. We all love to play and we’re great friends! We have great respect for each other. What more could you ask for??
